Hi, I'm working with DMSO as a vehicle in drug treatment in LNCaP cells, when I use dmso at a concentration greater than 0.5% cells have morphological alterations, I see them rounded and they grow in clusters, but cell viabilidad and proliferation are not compromised, Has anyone seen any similar effect?
Thank you!!

Yes, some cell types are more sensitive to DMSO than others - think 0.01% is about the lower limit of sensitivity for most cell lines and 0.5% about the maximum you would want to go.
Have you tried other vehicles such as dimethylformamide (DMF)?
