Have you ever irradiated J774 cells? how many Rads have you used? We have just irradiated them with 2000 Rads but all of them were dead. I would appreciate some kind of help. Thanks!! MES

That's an awful lot of radiation. I think somewhere in the range of 5 Gy (SI units FTW) is lethal for whole organisms. I would work on a dose of about 2 Gy. There must be papers out there that give this sort of advice for cells in culture.
