Hello, I was wondering if someone could recommend optimal growth conditions for B subtilis? I've had a look around in the literature and found various, including LB, which I have tried but with mixed results. Does anyone grow B. subtilis cultures on a regular basis?

ATCC usually offers medium and growht conditions for their bacterial cultures. Bacillus subtilis is not that difficult to culture - what kind of issues have you experienced?
