Question about Applied Photophysics Stopped Flow instrument SX.10MV :

When we run a kinetic experiment, we press 'Aquire' button in the software. Previously this initiated the experiment and automatically the graph of the reaction result / trace would come up in the viewer and the file would be saved automatically and in sequence order (i.e. trace001, trace002, trace 003).

The problem currently is that we are finding that we have to save manually - press 'Aquire', press 'save', type in a filename and this is slow.
Is there a setting somewhere that will restore the automatic saving and file naming?

The second question is about the use of filters for fluorescence applications. There are a number of filters with many different wavelength cut-offs. How do we choose which one to use? If I do a fluorescence experiment using particular emission (say 310 nm) and excitation (290 nm) wavelengths, does the cut off filter I choose need to be above or below these wavelength numbers?
Thanks!
