Hello,

I am working on inflation of mouse lungs with 10% neutral buffered formalin. I am cutting the abdominal arota for the blood to leakout before opening the diaphragm and inflating the lungs.

But when i did collagen staining on the inflated lung tissue which is paraffin embedded i find  blood in the lung parenchyma and red dots in the parenchyma.

I would be of great help to know how can i reduce the blood getting into the lung parenchyma and a better way to inflate lungs.

Thanks in advance
