Hi there,

I currently have my gene in pBS (my gene is 1000 bp) and after I did a restriction digest I had 3 bands.

one at 3000 bp (Corresponding to pbs:gene)
one at 1000 bp (corresponding to my gene)
one at 4000 bp

Am i right to assume the one at 4000 bp is pbs:gene that has only been cut once..hence producing a linear fragment of DNA of size 4000 bp?
