I do qPCR with sybr green and probes. I use the same primers, samples, conditions.....
The efficiency with sybr green ist always ok but withe probes i get values between 40 and 60 %.
I do not know why and I have no idea what my problems are.
I hope there is somone who can help me.
Thanks

Is the SYBR product specific on melting?
Some probes may have difficulty binding, so they lower the reaction efficiency, it's not a primer problem.

Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.
