Hi,

I am getting in a cell line (ATCC CRL-2643) and the grwoth medium requires supplementation iwth bovine insulin and trout serum. I have tried serval suppliers to get these products, but have had no success. Does anoyone have any ideas on how/where I could find these supplements?

I will have access to Barramundi soon with a possibility of being able to make my own serum from them, but am unsure if that would be suitable for this cell line.

Usually the ATCC sells the supplements required.

Where are you located? Bovine insulin is available from Sigma, trout serum (cell culture grade) is available from us: info@abbaltis.com
