Dear Guys,
I have a new bottle of CCB FBS
it is 500 ml bottle
I have aliquot in 50 ml bottles.
At first, there are 20 ml extra, this mean it was 520 ml not 500 only. so is it normal
There are precipitation in a bottle of my FBS??
Any suggestion
shall I filter my FBS and continue??? or shall I discard the FBS bottle with ppt

1. yes precipitates are normal
2. yes it is normal for the volume to be slightly off, companies tend to err on the side of caution and usually give you a little extra (in my experience, never had a bottle with exactly 500ml, always a bit extra)
