Hello
I am about to start a project involving human skeletal muscle (HSkMC) and would like to find out if I get some advice as to how to go about cell culturing these cells. I have a protocol from ECCAC, but would like to also get info regarding this cell line from the general scientific community.
Therefore i would be grateful if help and advice would be provided.
Generally would like to know if anyone has grown this cell line in RPMI or DMEM rather then using the manufacturer's medium. Also if antibiotics are fine to add to the medium.
Can somebody also provide with a protocol to differentiate the cells to myocytes if possible.
