Hi,
Does someone know if HeLa cells migrate under standar culture conditions (DMEM, 10% FBS, 37 C, 5% CO2), if yes, how can I to stop cell migration? if not how can I to induce cell migration? I would like to have two groups: migrating cells and not migrating cells for subsequently carry out patch clamp on those group of cells.

Yes they do. I don't know how to stop it, unless perhaps you can force the cells into G0 by some means, such as serum starvation.
