Hello
I am trying to induce early apoptosis in an adherent cancer cell line (PC3M), however whatever protocol I use I end up getting either 80% viability or a jump to late apoptosis. I would be grateful if somebody could suggest a method through which I can get early apoptosis. However I can not use chemicals to induce apoptosis. Please Help.
Help !! How to induce early apoptosis without using chemical agents in c

You can use UV (100 mJ) or gamma irradiation. For early apoptosis you wll need to start looking quite early - within a few hours of the treatment.

Thank you Bob 1 for the suggestion. I was thinking to do that.
However what do you think about heat induction, and regarding UV wouldn't the DNA of the cells be affected?

Never tried heat. With UV and gamma irradiation the DNA is damaged, this is typically what induces apoptosis!
