1xTE buffer (Lot # 92810), which comes with OmniPrep DNA kit (G-Biosciences, St. Louis, MO), contains 50x more EDTA than what they describe, and it can severely interfere with downstream applications. I reported it and their tech rep admitted that the company knew about the concentration issue, but they haven't made any effort to withdraw the product from the market. Please contact me if you've come accross to any problem with the kit. Thanks, TAKA
