Hi guys, i have a general question. i am running a chitin column on some e-coli samples, but i cannot stay at the lab all night to preform the wash. Is it ok to leave the column at 4C after the lysate have been applied and the  flow through has been collected, and apply the wash the next day? Is it safe for the samples?

I'd think it would work fine.  Might even bind some more product.
