I was wondering if somebody can clarify this. We have siRNA cloned into the inducible pSuperior vector but we have not obtained a TetR-expressing plasmid (needed for co-transfection) as yet. If we use the pSuperior-siRNA construct for transfection without the TetR-expressing plasmid and Tet, that will simply be like transfecting with the non-inducible pSuper version, right?
I asked because if that is the case, we may not bother doing a construct in pSuper for now (or obtain a TetR-expressing plasmid). Thanks.
