What percentage gel should I make?

I want to blot for a protein with a few isoforms 400, 350 and 180 kDa.
What percentage polyacrylamide gel should I set (as I set my gels manually using a home recipe)?
Or would it be easier/better to get a commercial pre-set gradient gel?

a 5% gel may be best for your purpose.
