Hi,
i am trying to isolate genomic DNA from mouse tail in a automated fashion. I have heard of a protocol using a single phase buffer conatining phenol, chloroform and potassiumacetate to preciptate the protein. Does anyone have a clue about this protocol?

Hi!

I'm using the Qiagen  Genomic DNA Tissue kit -  works fine!
I'm getting good DNA from mousetail, cellculture, gram-negative bacteria!
