hello everyone, now i am planning to run a microarray to see what kind of genes are affected by my interested gene. I have never done microarray before and now I have generally two thoughts. One is to make a stable transfectant cell line and analyze the gene expression due to the overexpression of my gene. Another thought is to knockdown this gene and then analyze the changes in gene expression. Which one is better? Thanks in advance.
