hello everybody,
i just want to test the effect of a certain chemical on the proliferation of stem cells. i just want to ask how to decide which antibody to get. which is better, ki67 antibody for flow analysis or for immunofluoresence? what should i perform, flow or immunostaining? thank you

The antibody (clone number) should be the same. FACS antibodies are usually conjugated to a dye, while those for IF are not. In terms of quantification, FACS is quicker and more reliable than IF. However, I have never done Ki67 staining for FACS (intracellular antibodies are always tricky).
Usually, people would use MTT assay for proliferation, why don't you do that?
