Hello,
i would like to know if it is possible to measure a cell cycle stained with DAPI with a violet (405nm) laser instead of a UV lamp? I know that concerning the excitation maximum of DAPI, UV would be much better than a violet laser, but since DAPI is very bright, are there people using the violet laser when a UV lamp is not available?
Thanks in advance.
