Hi everyone,
  I am just curious about one thing~

  For a secreted protein, it should first has a N-terminal tag and go into ER and Golgi and go secreted from the cell~

  So I am thinking about is it the case that if the mRNA of this protein in one cell line is high, it means the cell will secret more of this protein than the others~

My experience is that even if the genes are expressed at relatively high level, it does not necessarily relate with high protein secretion.
