I'am sorry if this is not the right place for this question.
I seached google for the meaning of "profibrotic phenotype/effect/role/activity/function) but couldn't find a definition or clear description!
COuld somebody please provide me with a simple definition of this term?
What profibrotic stands for?

although "profibrotic" is not in the dictionaries to which i have access, it would seem that it means "promotes fibrosis".
