Dear all,
I would like to know if there will be any fluorscent if I transfact empty GFP vector into the cell?  It's that a must to do some negative control during the GFP transfection experiment like transfect empty vector or no transfection?  Or any other negative control should be included?

Is there a promotor in front of the GFP coding sequence in the vector? Otherwise GFP will be be expressed.
