recently,our lab focus on a project,in which a strain called E. coli S17-1 pir needed to have suicide plasmid preserved,but in the reference articles, no clue is mentioned for us to get it,so i come to ask for you guys' help.

E-mail the authors of the paper? Try to construct it yourself?
Many times these bacteria are "home-made" by the specific lab so you can just "buy" then.

If you don't know it, then ask it! Better to ask and look foolish to some then not ask and stay stupid.
