We are having problems with the Imidazole that we use for elution in our Nickel Column. We believe that the Imidazole is tearing up our protein. Is there anything else I can use to help elute the Protein, instead of using Imidazole? BTW our protein has a 6X-His tag.

you may be able to elute with edta (it's used during regeneration)

If thats true i would just try another tag. Strep? Flag?
