Can anyone please tell me the weight of a single lambda-DNA molecule of 24000 bp?

You can easily work it out for your self by knowing the average molecular weight of DNA (hint: take the molar mass for each base and add together then divide by 4) then multipy by the number of bp.

if it's base pairs then you also multiply by 2
