We need ~200 to 300 microliters of rat serum. Approximately what volume of blood do we need to draw to end up with that amount of serum? We will need to sample again two weeks later. If you do know the amount of blood needed and can suggest an ideal method to draw the blood it would be appreciated (at this point rat lateral tail vein is what I am thinking). Thanks.
