Do we need a special equipment(s) to cytospin cells? I will be cytospining FACS purified cell fractions, and had thought it would be quite simple; however, it turns out we might need a special centrifuge machine or something... Is this a must or is there any alternative that does not require such equipments?

Have a look at this paper, for a protocol for using an ordinary centrifuge.
