Dear All,
I am new at molecular biology. I have isolated a fruit specific promoter with the help of PCR. It showed exact expected size on gel 2120 bp. I want to use this to make a construct in which my gene of interest is controlled by this fruit specific promotor so that i can get expression specifically in the fruit. My problem is that how can i identifiy that this promoter is funtional before transformation of plants. Is there any way? Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
