Hi all. I am designing a small pilot project that involves using Hematin Porcine. I've read of dissolving hematin or heme in NaOH or Ammonia. I will be using the dissolved hematin in a GST assay.

Any suggestions on what method to use to dissolve hematin? Hopefully whatever solution I decide to make does not interfere with the assay.
