Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has been posted before (or is a stupid question) but cant seem to find any information on this!

I want to digest a plasmid with a specific RE...but the RE site is on the comp strand of my plasmid...should this be a problem and will I have to take anything else into consideration?

Most RE sites are totally complementary - i.e. if it is in one strand, then it should be in the other too, just in the reverse direction!
