Hello,

does anyone have some numbers on transfection efficiency of lentivirus (or adenovirus) in hippocampal cell cultures?

I am infecting these cultures at the moment and get about 10% transfected cells but I would need 50% or more but I am not sure if that is realistic!

I hope someone can help, all publications just give the infection units which are not of much use to me at the moment!

What species are the hippocampal cultures from and how did you prepare your virus?
