Does anyone use scrapers during the cell lysis step when extracting total protein?

If so, would you reuse the same scraper for all your samples after washing it? (e.g. cells under different treatments or conditions).

And with the step via passing lysates through a needle, would you need to use a fresh one every sample? or can you wash the needle + syringe everytime for different samples?

i always reuse scrappers, after every sample wash in PBS, Wipe and use....can do the same for syringe as well, but got to make sure you syringe out thoroughly (using PBS) after every sample...
I would prefer being perfectionist rather than a passionist in Research.

I always had an alternate hypothesis....
