Hi, I´m trying to extract RNA from matherial preserved in EtOH 100%. I´m using TRIZOL but it seems that the matherial is quite dificult to homogenize and disrupt since it is hard. Any suggestions?

Thanks

You can always try to crush it deep-frozen in liquid nitrogen I guess, that should make it fragile. If it's not a bone.
Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.

I never trust anything that can't be doubted.
