I want to express a part of a protein, but I want to include the signal peptide.

What is the general procedure of making a recombinant protein, with addition of a N-term signal peptide? Should I include the peptide coding sequence in the 5'-primer? But it is very long (~60bp).

Thanks a lot!

Hola, the general procedure is subcloning your protein in a vector which will  contains signal peptide. There are some in the pET system for bacteria and in any other expression system that you choice as baculovirus for instance that I know. Buena suerte
