I wanted to know what volumes of the reagents do I put together to prepare lysis buffer

Prepare Lysis Buffer using ingredients below:
 
Tris pH 8.0 50mM
NaCl 500mM
EDTA 10mM
SDS  0.2%
Also how much would you add when exteating DNA from maggots, because I carried out the extraction and did obtain DNA however observed it all 'cut up'.
