I am a synthetic chemist looking through some papers about a compounds activity against Raji cells. They are inducing tumors using TPA and measuring growth inhibition by the compounds. Instead of reporting concentration in mg/mL or molarity, they are reporting mol ration /TPA. Can someone please explain how I can convert this to molarity and why they used it in the first place?
