How many times max. can we reuse both buffers? Some people prefer making fresh every time they do a WB whilst some reuse it countless times.
Does reusing running buffers increase the chances of higher background?

i never reuse running buffers (the page formulation i use has different anode and cathode buffers).
transfer buffer may be reusable a few times but i wouldn't. it may get contaminated by blow through protein, sds from the gel, etc. also, the methanol tends to evaporate so you won't know the concentration after the first run or two.
