I need to write a grant proposal paper for a bio class but I'm not sure on what to really include in the "specific aims" section that should be at least one page long. All I have is a small paragraph (116 words) introducing the protein. I have a good idea of what to write but I'm not sure if I might be using stuff that belongs in the "
significance and background" section.

Any help is appreciated.

Btw, is this the section where I can give a detailed explanation of the protein (structure, role, etc.) or is this unnecessary?
