Is it possible to stably transfect mammalian cells using only a single vector? Or do you always need more than one vector?

you will choose 2nd vector only in case your expression vector doesnt have the mammalian selection, otherwise only one vector is normally transfected for generating stable clones.
I would prefer being perfectionist rather than a passionist in Research.

I always had an alternate hypothesis....
