Hi all,
I'm looking for markers of murine memory CD4 cells for FACS. There are many genes that correlate with this population but still they are not memory cells-specific. Do you have any ideas or have yuo used any cell separation kit which yielded representative populations?
Many thanks!
Any reliable markers for mouse memoery T cells?

I asked my friend who is a Immunology Guru, and after a 20 minute discussion on whether memory T-cells actually exists, he told me this:
There are generally considered two different types of memory T-cells, Central and Effector. Central memory cells should have the CCR7 and CD62L surface markers, but effector cells generally do not. Central memory cells secrete IL-2, but Effector memory cells secrete IL-4 and IFN-gamma.
Hope this Helps!
Best of Luck.
