Dear all, I would like to conduct a project on breast cancer but I dont know how to select cell line. Would you please give me some guidlines to choose for one to work as model system? Thanks.

(1) Select your cell line or your tartget kinase (protein).
(2) Set up a in vitro and/or cell based assay using recombinant protein or whole cells.
(3) select your functional readout for detection e.g. fluorescence in kinase, caspase...or cell death index for apoptosis- MTT, JC-1 dye....
(4) Screen the compound library for inhibiting target kinase or activating caspase or killing cells.
