Good afternoon everyone,
I am trying to express a viral protein into a mammalian cell system. This viral protein is naturally proteolitically process as part of a poly protein, for that reason lacks of ER signal peptide or endogenous ATG. I am trying to clone it into a pCAGGS vector, using BIP signal peptide to target it to the ER and provide it an ATG but so far all my attempts have been unsuccessful....I transfect my BIP-Protein-Stop construction and I can not see anything by IF....
