Am wanting to do tissue culturing from canine cruciate ligament. I was wondering if anyone had any experiance in this method? what would you use to culture them in? I was planning on doing explant culture using DMEM/F-12 media (with the antibiotics etc added obviously). was also wanting to try a monolayer culture but was unsure if this would work with the fibrous ligaments given the fact that normally only epithelials form monolayers?
