Hi everybody...


I just wondering somebody can give me the clue of my problem. My laboratory is going to purchase the sequencer (ION Torrent by AB). But, poorly the sole agent of my regional gives the very expensive price. currently, i live in South East Asia.


Does anybody know about the price in its origin manufacture (US) ?

the instrument is $49,500. server is ~$16,500.

one-touch system is $5,000.

the cost of the chip (and reagents, i think) is ~$500-800/run.

or so they said at the presentation.

Think,it have been a while since the last time we communicate,right? How have you been..?
currently, i am still struggling to conquer the IEF. seems needs a lot of efforts..

About ION TORRENT, if you don't mind would you like to send me a presentation of AB...?

what is it that you would like to know about ion torrent?

all i have from the presentation is some literature, but i have a decent understanding of the mechanism.
