Hello out there!
I would like to avoid Tris or Hepes in my protein purification buffer. Do you know if I could replace it by phosphate buffer? If yes, what should be the exact composition of the phosphate buffer (i.e. monobasic, mono + dibasic, concentration, pH).

I can do this for you - what pH and concentration you require? Do you need specific ionic strength? What would be the temperature you're planning to use this buffer at?

You can purchase some PBS buffer pill from Sigma, it is very convenient.
