Hi all! I would like to know what book is goof for me to learn about the chemical structure of molecules. For example: If I see a structure with an alkyl chain I know that the drug is lipophilic and so on. Thanks a lot!!!

Biochemistry books are good ones for knowing the structures of different molecules..

ask yourself, why "alkyl" = lypophilic ???
alkyl = organic = hydrophobic = lypophilic.

but u have to consider all the structure of the drug, before u judge it lypophilic or not.
