Hi.
Does anyone know why it is not good to transfer of blood into the PAXgene blood RNA tube with syringe? Is it necessary to use jost BD vacutainer safety-lock blood collection set?

Risk of needle-stick injury is the biggest factor I suspect.  Though it may be to stop it getting further aerated or damaging the cells in the blood, which would lower the amount of DNA and RNA you could extract.
