I am new to studying the drososphila and was wondering if any one knows of a book that i can read to get a basic understanding of the fly brain anatomy

Have a look here . It's part of the website The Interactive Fly, actually I don't know if it's for beginners, but it has a huge collection of everything concerning Drosophila, but with a focus on developmental biology. And a link there might be even more interesting: The flybrain.

Thanks . i have been through these sites but there is still the problem of not knowing the structures just the basic anatomy of the fly brain will be usefull. Thanks again
