what is the salary range for a post-doc job in america??
I am currently engaged to apply for post-doc jobs in the usa, it is often required to fill in a salary range - what does that mean (brutto - annual salary, % income tax)??

thanks in advance

it depends where in the States...the salaries are usually adjusted according to the cost of living (eg California as compared with Tennessee) but I think that most would be following the NIH scale...you can check that out or The Scientist published a salary scale recently...
